AGW: Electromagnetic Spectrum, Greenhouse Effect and Global Warming

There are 3 kinds of light:

long wave infrared light,

visible light, and

short wave ultraviolet light.

All three carry photonic energy that warms the planet when striking the surface.
This heat slowly radiates outward and interacts with the Earth’s atmosphere, especially the heavier molecules such as carbon dioxide and methane. Working together with the Greenhouse Effect, this is what has kept the Earth from freezing into a chunk of ice.
