As long as world overpopulation
remains the size of a problem that it is, then to the same degree so
also will be global warming, resource depletion, environmental
degradation, species annihilation, etcetera. They are merely the 'tail
of the dog'. Chasing after them is like a flea ridden dog chasing its
own tail in pursuit of relief. The problem is the fleas, not the
irritations that they cause.
Relief will come not from proactive
human solutions; but instead from reactive human wars, diseases,
starvation and economic disruptions. Even incremental degrees of global
warming will slow down as overpopulation provides its own fearful
solutions.
