There are many who do not understand the invisible action of ‘infrared radiation’ upon greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide. This is forgivable to the extent that it is not easy to understand — however, the effects are both observable and quantifiable. What prevents someone from comprehending this is ‘fear’: fear of what global warming truly means in all of our lives.
“Fear is the mind killer” and keeps us from understanding that which we otherwise could.Lord, forgive us for our trespasses and our many and varied ignorances.
